Weekend Activities

More fun in ffxi land ^^. Did some Znms, nyzul isle, and finally, a win at dyna-qufim! Just need a win on Dyna-Valkurm and we’re off to Dyna-Tav!

My linkshell did Mahjlaef the Paintorn for my pop, and boy did it take long lol. Getting jobs right and getting to camp took forever. It was tough to get to camp without agroing the whole zone of imps and soulflayers. Once we got to camp and popped the Nm though he was no trouble at all. I wanted Oracle’s Braconi but it didn’t drop.

Finally did nyzul for the first time as a monk! Wasn’t difficult at all, my friend aragonz made a really good pickup party. We did floor 20 in hopes of it dropping some nice feet gear, I myself wanting denali and goliard. But damn Behemoth got stingy lol, no feet at all.

Again, finally a win in qufim. Last time we did qufim we didn’t kill the golem NM because of time constraints, failing our attempt to beat Antaeus. This time around though, with our main lead Sourdo back, we tackled it no problem! Sourdo had to Metal Gear Solid (his own words lol) through the Behemoth’s Dominion zone to pull the Golem NM, Suttung. Antaeus was {too weak} after that lol, zerged it good.

Apoc Nigh!

Man yesterday was the one of the best ffxi days ever!  Got Monk to 75, bought a K Osode (I’m in debt now but it’s worth it lol), and did Apoc Nigh!  Apoc Nigh totally suprised me as the leads of my ls told me they were doing it and needed people.  Anyways here are some pics (WARNING: spoiler alert for people that haven’t done it yet):

Man I love the Empyreal Paradox BCNM, so awesome to fight on.  I would gladly do apoc nigh and 8-4 again. Anyways, on a final note, every since I got sea I’ve been crag warping to sky, but yesterday I went to sky twice to farm, and so I had to go through the Hall of the Gods.  That place looks pretty cool also even though its a waste of time to get to sky lol. Here is a pic.

75 Monk!

Finally, after months of levelling, and levelling NIN to 37 (a pain), finally finished levelling MNK! I was lucky to join a merit party at 74, and even though I ate tentacle sushi, I was still having acc issues. But as soon as I turned 75, it was gone! I guess that one level makes a big difference compared to the mob’s level. Now that that’s done, time to pimp it up! Goals for the year:

1. Finish meriting MNK and BLM. Got lots to do for MNK (113 merits), but for BLM I just need 35 merits to finish MP and maxing AM2. After145 merits in Mount Zhayolm, I’ve had enough lol.  That should take a good chunk of the year.

2. Finish Missions. Still need to do Apoc Nigh for my Hollow earring, finish ToAU missions (at 35), and continue the WoTG.

3. Pimp out monk/get BLM pimp hat!

Shouldn’t be too hard to accomplish, I’m close in line for Byakko’s and next up for afv2 hat.
